How it works
This checker uses your browser's built-in, privacy-friendly spell-check engine — your text never leaves your device. Misspelled words are underlined as you type; right-click (or long-press on mobile) any underlined word to see correction suggestions. Make sure spell-check is enabled in your browser settings and the correct language is selected.
How to use Spell Checker
- Paste or type your text into the box — misspelled words are underlined as you go.
- Right-click an underlined word (long-press on mobile) and choose the correct spelling from the suggestions.
- Check your browser's language setting if underlines look wrong — the dictionary follows it.
- Copy the corrected text back to where it came from. Nothing was uploaded at any point.
What is Spell Checker?
This spell checker gives you a clean, distraction-free box wired to your browser's built-in spell-check engine: misspelled words are underlined as you type, and right-clicking any underlined word offers corrections. It is the same dictionary technology behind your browser's form fields, presented as a proper writing surface.
The design choice that matters is privacy: because checking happens inside the browser, your text is never uploaded to any server — unlike most online spell checkers and AI grammar tools, which send everything you type to the cloud. For confidential drafts, that difference is the whole point.

Use it as a pre-send check for emails and messages typed in apps without checking, a paste-target for text written in code editors and terminal tools (which don't spell-check), and a safe surface for sensitive material — contracts, HR notes, unpublished work — that shouldn't be pasted into cloud tools. The dictionary language follows your browser's language settings, so multilingual writers can switch dictionaries there.
Nothing you type is stored, logged or transmitted; closing the tab erases everything.
