What is Letter Counter?
A letter counter reports how many letters and characters your text contains, updating live as you type. The distinction matters: a character count includes digits, punctuation and (depending on the rule) spaces, while a letter count is alphabetic characters only — and different platforms and assignments count different things.
Most modern limits are character limits including spaces: X/Twitter's 280, Instagram bios at 150, Google title tags around 60, SMS at 160 per message, meta descriptions near 155. Knowing which count a limit refers to — and seeing all of them at once — prevents the classic surprise of a "fits by letters" text that overflows by characters.
